I am so bloody annoyed with the fact that public houses keep closing down , Not only that, They end up as McDonald's or even worse a place of worship, Now I am not against a church being built but not in our pubs that are our English heritage , Just this week , Another pub became a McDonald's , The latest victim is The Ship pub on Plumstead Common road,
This is an example of how to ruin a good pub, another one that I saw last year is the Mildmay Tavern where the Honeycombs used to play in th60s It is now a convenience store , How sad it is to see !So why are these pubs closing ?
Well if supermarkets were not able to sell drink (Alcohol) And corner shops only sold News papers and confectionery, Then perhaps our poor old pubs would be ok ! THINK ABOUT IT !
